Serving Sizes

Vanilla or chocolate (variations on request)

Serving sizes quoted are dessert sizes. If serving after dessert, portions are smaller, therefore, will serve many more guests.

Regular height cakes/ layers:

  • 4” round: 8 serves
  • 5” round:  18 serves
  • 6” round:  24 serves
  • 8” round:  30 serves

Double-height layers:

  • 4” round: 12 serves
  • 5” round: 24 serves
  • 6” round: 28 serves
  • 8” round: 36 serves
  • 9” round: 40 serves

Examples of costings

A smaller, 3-tier cake 4, 5 & 8” (about 12” tall) will serve approx. 60-64 guests (cost approx. $490)

A larger, 4-tier cake 4, 5, 6 & 8” will serve approx. 80 guests (cost approx. $530)

A double-tall 6” cake on a tower of 3 dozen deluxe cupcakes will serve approx. 64 guests (total cost approx. $650) (includes use of white, purpose-built display tower)

6 – 8” round double-height cakes, price range approx. $380-420

I will design, fashion and deliver your cake directly to the venue, while keeping costs as reasonable as possible. Costings will vary, depending upon complexity, delivery distance and items such as customized name toppers.

Simple child’s cake – from $250

Prices include GST, and 5% of every cake I make will be donated to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
