I am a cake artist, specialising in hand-piped roses and various florals, creating wedding and special occasion cakes, from my kitchen on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Meet Kathy

I have a long background in the arts, having danced professionally with Sydney Dance Co at the Opera House; Ballet Rambert, London; touring the world dancing for a large part of my life; and working in commercial choreography, set design and production.

The learned professionalism, dedication, inspiration and self-discipline have fuelled my transition into everything I have done since.

I have wonderful early memories of my mum, Betty, making beautiful wedding cakes in the 50’s through to the 70’s.

I remember watching her hand-piping sugar lace in our old dining room, surrounded by heaters to keep the air dry.
